ESPN Continued

As you may well remember on the 28th of July I was on national sports talk radio. Just to prove it here's the link go to minute 19:30.

The question was posed "What's the biggest question for the Broncos this year?". I'll now give you the answer. The Broncos Defensive Line!

The Broncos were 30th in 32 teams in rushing defense last year. Only the Raiders and Dolphins had a worse rushing defense and they had a combined 5 wins. Its a wonder that the Broncos even managed 7 wins last year with that rush defense. Why would any team in the NFL want to pass when they can just run for the first down? Add to that, that the Broncos have been missing a pass rush for years and you can see why the biggest question is the defensive line. The most productive player last year was second year player Elvis Dumervil. The Broncos also drafted three rookies last year on the defensive line. All that said means very little experience on the D-line. They went out to solve their problems being trading for Dewayne Robertson who has been playing with a bone on bone condition since college but still manages to play most weeks in the past.

The Broncos offensive should be the most dynamic since #7 was behind center and #30 was behind him, especially later in the season when Ryan Torain returns from his broken elbow. If the Broncos defense can just stop the other team and allow the Broncos offense to find a good rhythm, this offense should be high flying some where near 30 points a game, but that all goes back to how well the defensive line can answer the question.
